"Breakfast With the Beatles," SIRIUS XM’s weekly show devoted to the Fab Four, will celebrate the worldwide release of the digitally remastered Beatles catalogue with a special edition of the show to air at noon ET Sept 9 on Sirius channel 25 and XM channel 59.
Host Chris Carter will play tracks from all 14 stereo albums and 11 mono albums. The mono albums feature markedly different versions of many songs.
“'The Underground Garage' will be celebrating the big day and the one-year anniversary of 'Breakfast with The Beatles' on satellite radio with 180 straight minutes of the new brilliant sounding Beatles remasters on 'The Underground Garage',” Carter says. “Switch On… tune In …number nine…number nine…09!”
"Breakfast With the Beatles,'' a weekly show hosted by Beatles expert Carter, airs from 9 a.m. to noon ET and is repeated at 12:00 ET Sundays. The program features classic Beatles hits, album tracks, B-sides, rarities, live recordings and Beatles solo material. Also included are insights from the Beatles themselves, special themed shows and weekly features, including Beatles covers and music influenced by the band.
