Mr. Obama: Tear down the apologies and be an AMERICAN!

It is growing more difficult by the month to discern President Obama’s priorities on the world stage.

  Last month, you couldn’t stop him from climbing on Air Force One to fly halfway around the world lobbying the International Olympic Committee for Chicago’s 2016 proposal.
 
He also has no hesitation to travel the globe apologizing for America’s indiscretions and failures dealing with friends and enemies alike.

One begins to wonder what is that prevents the president from reminding the world of what makes America the greatest and the freest nation ever to exist on the face of the earth.  

Instead, Obama turns down Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel's invitation to participate in the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.  The perfect vehicle to show our determination to a world that stills looks at America as a beacon of freedom. 

November 9th, 1989 should not only be a day to celebrate, but a day of world celebration for all free peoples.

Not only that, but this opportunity comes with a European country actually asking US to come and speak of those very virtues.  Not to apologize, but to bring the hope of freedom to millions of imprisoned peoples throughout the world and show them that America cares and will continue to care about their plight. 

  Confusing as it may seem, President Obama doesn’t have the time that the likes of John F. Kennedy and Ronald W. Reagan had to come to Berlin and show the world that America is their friend in peace without apology!

If there is one symbol that rallies free men everywhere, it is the sight of a torn down symbol of the Cold War and Communism.  Isn’t THIS what America stands for and has shed its blood and wealth to protect? 

Where are you President Obama?  This is an embarrassment to me and millions of Americans who are proud of our country and what it stands for!  The Germans and the rest of the world look at the empty seat where America should be and wonder why.

You can apologize until the cows come home for all I care.  But when you make America an absentee protector of the world, you have lost my belief in you and whatever you stand for.  That itself remains as questionable as your decision to pass on this historic event. 

I think that John Kennedy and Ronald Reagan along with every other president since 1945 would be ashamed of you and your politics as usual administration.

Do you think by NOT attending this ceremony you will make the Iranians come to the peace table or keep the Russians from placing roadblocks in front of any plans we make?   Or do you think it will upset the murdering savages that roam the world killing and maiming in the name of Allah?  You will throw away this opportunity to show America at its best for the hope of making the likes of Ahmadwejador Putin happy?

You may not think so with all your apologizing Mr. Obama, but there still are billions in this world that look to America for guidance and strength.  Not going to Berlin only gives our enemies renewed vigor in their fight to discredit our country as “the evil empire”. 

The message of the Berlin Wall is a rallying cry for freedom everywhere.  It is the very essence of human dignity as we Americans see the rest of the world.

I can only wonder WHAT could POSSIBLY be more important to ALL Americans than to see OUR President standing side by side with those who stand for freedom no matter what flag flies over them.

Shame on you Mr. President of OUR United States of America.  We as Americans may differ about our nation’s current problems, but nowhere does it say we’re not ALL Americans deep down.

This act of pure politics sickens me to my very soul as an American who is proud beyond belief to just say, “I am an American!”

Whoever your decision is making happy is my sworn enemy.
