For those who have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Tyler's Taproom in Raleigh, the wait is over. The Raleigh location of this local favorite, situated next to Peace College in Seaboard Station, opens today. The official Tyler's Twitter feed made the opening announcement around 8am Friday:
"Thank you ALL for your support! It's OFFICIAL - Raleigh is OPEN!"
News of a Raleigh Tyler's location had been buzzing for a couple of years before the official announcement and subsequent construction began this summer. Seaboard Station now hosts Tyler's fourth location, following Carrboro, Durham, and Apex. Like the Durham location, Raleigh Tyler's will feature a patio for outdoor dining, and of course continues Tyler's tradition of having one of the Triangle's best beer selections.
