As football season draws closer by the day, more and more fantasy football leagues are holding their drafts. As a result, more bars are trying to woo the leagues to bring their drafts - and money - to their establishments. Following the lead set by The Brickhouse, Raleigh's Crabtree Tavern (5300 Homewood Banks Drive, behind Crabtree Valley Mall) has begun offering up a sweet deal for fantasy football leagues who hold drafts at the Tavern.
Crabtree Tavern's Facebook page announced on Wednesday that leagues who hold their draft there between August 17th and September 7th will receive a special draft package. That package includes access to a private area for the draft, a special Draft Board software, free appetizers valued at $50, $1 pints of beer, and pitcher specials.
If you'd like to take advantage of Crabtree Tavern's offer, contact Kara at 919.532.7100 or by email at kara@crabtreetavern.com to make your reservation.
A Special Reminder from Examiner.com and the NHTSA: If you take advantage of those beer specials at your fantasy draft, be smart and don’t get caught driving drunk. Plan for a sober driver, take a taxi or use public transportation.
