Ask the DC Bargain Hunter: Finding a wallet that won't empty your wallet

Looking for something like this wallet from Target

Liz from Liz in DC writes:

I'm looking [for a wallet] in the 10-20 dollar range, but I'll go to thirty if its really good (I'm doing a budget challenge and trying to stay on track). I love the "cigarette case" style like this one from Target. I love funky patterns and colors like purple, green, yellow, blue. Hate "snakeskin" and leopard or zebra print (It doesn't match my style). I'm okay with a long and thin wallet or a short and thin wallet- anything too chunky will end up taking up too much room.

When you arrive at that moment of realization that you actually NEED a new wallet, coin purse, check book cover, or any other "necessary" accessory  it can be tricky to find something you actually like. It can be especially challenging when you have something specific in mind and you're on a budget. Luckily for Liz, I've found several options ranging from $5.00-$34.00 (plus shipping and handling): hopefully one of these will fit the bill, or should I say bills  :)
