Barbra Streisand is presenting at the Oscars ... told you so!

Nobody likes a know-it-all, but when the news came out yesterday that Barbra Streisand was definitely going to be an Oscar presenter, you could honestly say that you read it here first! The clues were all there and the tea leaves weren't wrong.

Now the only question is this: which award with two-time Oscar winner Streisand present? The idea of her presenting Best Actor is logical, especially since her former co-star from "The Mirror Has Two Faces," Jeff Bridges is predicted to be a sure winner for "Crazy Heart."

However, there's a real likelihood that Kate Winslet, the Best Actress winner from 2009 for "The Reader," will follow tradition and present this year's Best Actor. So, would that mean that Barbra might introduce a Best Picture nominee or give out Best Song, which she did the year Eminem won (but wasn't there).

No, the prize moment would seem to be Best Director. Barbra has done this one before and she has a strong connection to the category as one of the most famous Oscar snubs ever for Best Director. She was worthy in 1983 for "Yentl," having won the Golden Globe for her screen directing debut. And she was worthy in 1991 for "The Prince of Tides." In that year, she did receive a Director's Guild nomination, but not an Oscar nom.

Therefore, wouldn't it be justice if Barbra were the one to present the Best Director Oscar to the likely winner, Kathryn Bigelow for "The Hurt Locker"? It would be a perfect PR moment, and for Barbra, a way to finally shine the light officially on female directors.

Remember, too, Barbra believes strongly in supporting other women in the arts. She's not competitive at all, but supportive and nurturing. She would be honored to stand beside Bigelow when she wins. And, yes, she will win. She's already won the DGA which is 95% correct in predicting the Oscar winning director.

Will you be watching on Sunday? How could you not … it'll be history in the making!
