Theresa Perrin, an Orlando ballroom professional, began dancing at the age of 2 in South Florida. Her extensive dance career consists of training in a wide variety of classical styles, such and Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop. She has also branched out into more athletic styles of dance and fitness training such as Cheerleading, Drill, Step, Fitness, and Zumba.
An ambitious dancer to say the least, Theresa has also worked for the City of Orlando, teaching over 500 dance students during several summer seasons for “Grande Finale” production numbers that end up on the stage of the Bob Carr Performaing Arts Center. She has worked for Pierre Dulaine (Mad Hot Ballroom) and American Ballroom Theatre in Manhattan, NY, and has also studied at the elite Hip-Hop Dance Conservatory in New York City. Additionally, Theresa placed second in the Dancing with the Stars National Tour Competition.
Theresa currently works at Marino Dance Club in Casselberry, FL where she teaches private and group dance lessons, as well as managing the office during the daytime. She is also a wedding coordinator for the studio, and directs the Big Steps, Small Feet: Children's Ballroom Dance program. Theresa has been dancing for a total of 25 years, has been teaching children how to dance for almost 13 years, and has taught Ballroom for 4 years, 2 of which have been at the Marino Dance Club.
