Elaina Alexander is a veteran of the Chicago chef community holding a culinary Associate's Degree, a Bachelor's of Hospitality management, and a Masters in Business. A Chicago native, wife and mother of three, she's attempting to launch her pastry service, Celebrations Cakes and Catering, out of her kitchen and into its first formal location. She's held positions with several of the finest outlets in the city and has a huge passion for pastry arts. She currently writes a blog, The Cake Creator, dedicated to the artistic challenges her word of mouth customers present with each and every custom made project. She's written her first cookbook that she's in the process of self-publishing. She is constantly self-promoting herself and her work, through social media including her fan page on Facebook in which she currently has over 640 fans.
