Hadley Malcolm has been baking since before she could see above a kitchen counter and believes happiness can be blended with a KitchenAid mixer and a dollop of Frank Sinatra. A graduate of George Washington University with a degree in journalism, Hadley now works for the media company Gannett in both the corporate news division and on writing assignments and web production for USA Today. With considerable after-work free time no longer filled with school work, Hadley avidly reads baking blogs and is constantly trying new recipes, from homemade Oreos to punched-up rice crispy treats (it's all about the salt!). Driven by a passion for homemade sweets and years of flour-dusted practice, she knows her way around chocolate whoopie pies and petite buttercream sandwich cookies.
