Do you need a good landscape contractor?  Could you use some guidance and information on who to hire?  Consider calling the California Landscape Contractors Association.  This organization, commonly referred to to as the CLCA, registers licensed landscape contractors, but offers a lot more than that.

You can call to research the background and status of any landscape contractor you are considering hiring.  You can also find out about many of the current events going on in landscaping, some recent products that are recommended for use in the garden and get educated about a number of landscaping issues.

If you go to the CLCA site, you will find some videos of celebrities --Tiffani Thiessen, Jon Goldstein, Sheryl Crow and Bryan Cranston -- who are lending their support to encourage people to be more responsible about water consumption during this drought period.

Celebrity endorsements add a bit of color to the well-worn subject of the water shortage in Southern California.  But the lack of water is real, and it is important that people be kept aware that water resourcefulness is critical, especially when it comes to landscaping!

So check out the California Landscape Contractors Association at: http://www.clca-lasgv.org/ to see what the celebs have to say, to find out helpful tips about the landscape and to get information on hiring a licensed landscaping contractor.

Water is a scarce resource in South Dakota too. With just a little forethought, a person can substantially reduce the amount of water used daily.
