Stars of ABC’s The Bachelor Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney will return to New Zealand--this time without the camera crews and competing women.
Air New Zealand has invited the couple on the world's first "Matchmaking Flight." The promotional gimmick will take place October 13th journey, when passengers can board an Air New Zealand flight from Los Angeles to Auckland and chat with lovebirds Jason and Molly, while mingling with other singles.
Those who book online by July 15, can make this flight starting at $580 roundtrip. To book online and access the discount, travelers are invited to upload an online dating profile at www.thematchmakingflight.com, and then enter the LOVE200 promotion code when booking the Matchmaking Flight.
Passengers on this special flight will attend a send-off party at the departure gate in Los Angeles. The flight will be filled with matchmaking advice from the celebrity couple, an open bar, and speed dating.
Once on the ground in Auckland, travelers may choose to attend a matchmaking ball at SKYCITY Convention Center, which will also be attended by single New Zealanders.
“Molly and I fell in love with New Zealand during The Bachelor," Jason says. "It’s truly the most romantic place on Earth. We can’t wait to return to the stunning scenery and Kiwi hospitality and we hope that all the Matchmaking Flight singles have as much success as we did in finding one another.”
Those who watched the last season of The Bachelor know that Mesnick actually proposed to Melissa Rycroft, letting Molly Malaney go. (That actually makes New Zealand the place where Jason chose another woman...but, whatever.)
On the "After the Rose" special, Jason broke things off with Melissa and asked Molly for a second chance at dating. The two have been spotted since at Turks & Caicos, The Bonnie Hunt show and Good Morning America, still going strong and very much in love.
Did Air New Zealand spring for a ticket for Jason's son Tye? Inquiring minds want to know.

Isn't it wonderful that Molly's dad owns a travel agency? A resort promotional trip to the Turks/Caicos under the guise of a joint vacation, the giveaway trip for a lucky someone and now this. The philanthropy for single parents (well, except for Jason, since he co-parents) doesn't get much better than this, meh?
Come on Molly, sure it's been rumored you made a bad love connection in the past, but you don't have to settle for this. You're no longer styling or highlighting your hair..you seem to be slipping away before our eyes...RUN!!
If Molly was very smart, she would set a limit to Jason: "I will move to Seattle when you get a job and can support yourself and Ty without taking money from Hilary. Jason'sPlace is a scam; you are not a single parent; and it is time that you stop acting like a child. Grow up and stop lying about yourself and the things you do."
His wife dumped him for another guy shortly after she had a child with him. Wife pays him Child Support. This guy couldn't get a date in Seattle. So a few weeks after his divorce is final, he goes on a Reality Dating Show - proposed to Deanna but was rejected so he was #2. Then he goes on The Bachelor proposes to Melissa and then less than 6 weeks later, he unceremoniously and disgracefully dumps her on national tv. Five minutes later, he asks #2 Molly to give him another chance. They stick their tongues down each others throats 5 minutes after he dumps Melissa. He does NOT have a job. And on and on and on. And these losers are giving singles advice about dating and finding a match in New Zealand?????
Dating advice from a 3 time loser? It doesn't get any funnier than this. Hey Jason, I've got an idea. How about you pass on another free vacation and stay home and give single parenting advice. You can start with -

I never did like this weasel, Jason. He's such a girly-man. And, for him to be taking child support instead of working and supporting his child; that's beyond reprehensible. He's such a weenie ... UGH!
Just had to comment: (1) Jason does not, and has never, received child support. Where in the world do you morons come up with this stuff.
(2) Molly has gone back to her natural hair color. Doesn't style or highlight her hair? Are you 12 years old "Ann?"
(3) Ann, the "bad love connection in the past?" Really? Guess you are a few months late in learning that was all "blog gossip and proven to be a lie started by some psycho on the "boards."
(4) All you morons without a life, please move on to someone else. The world loves Jason and Molly. You are only a handful of "people" still having "issues." Me thinks that those "issues" are things you need to seek help with by a licensed clinical psychologist. GO JASON AND MOLLY!!!!!!!!!
