It's official. A Bachelor/ Bachelorette spin-off show is in the works, thanks to Mike Fleiss and his reality dating empire.
Bachelor Pad will invite 20 past contestants from various seasons of the popular reality show to live together in a house and compete, in the style of Big Brother.
The new ABC show (the network ordered 7 episodes) is expected to premiere by late summer, just after the conclusion of The Bachelorette, which is not yet in production.
Executive producer Martin Hilton explains the concept behind the show as a simple one. “All these people have been friends, been enemies, they date each other and bring all this great backstory to the show,” he says. “It seemed like there was an opportunity to combine that world with a new competitive reality show.”
Who will star on this series? Jesse Csincsak is a sure bet, since he proposed a similar concept, Bachelor All Stars, last fall. Hilton says top players and former winners are on board, though no names have been released.
Some of the show's competitions will be inspired by incidents from past seasons, with each episode ending in one or more contestants being evicted from the house.
One more familiar face will join the cast of Bachelor Pad; Bachelor host Chris Harrison has signed on to emcee.
The network has high hopes for this series, with the latest season of The Bachelor earning 15.5 million viewers for its season premier.

I just finished writing on this too for another site. :) I'm sure they'll put on people that will promise drama, too. I think they'll stick Wes Hayden in there somewhere. Maybe he'll sing that stupid song again.
I do not think this idea will fly. Bachelor/Bachelorette show is enough. All former contestants have moved on now except for Jesse C. and I do not care to watch a show he is in. The good ones (B/b's) will not participate I am sure.
Like to see Kiptyn again. But since he's dating a single mother of two from SLC Utah. Doubt he'd do it.

Wendy Burkman's friends posted links online awhile back. That showed Phone Convos between her and Kiptyn, and email exchanges between the two. once word got out the links were up,they got deleted.But not before quite a few people read the links. It was a big topic of discussion on the message boards but those links were taken down as well.
Tania.....Please understand i'm not trying to start trouble. I'm just mentioning what i've read and heard from the internet. Which in itself isn't always the smartest thing. Kiptyn was a favorite of mine and I wish him nothing but the best.
I honestly don't think anybody's personal business should be played out online. What Kiptyn does with his life and who he does it with. Is his business and only his. IMHO this show isn't for Kiptyn. He's not as cut throat as most of these guys/gals are and can be. If the links aren't available now. the info should've NEVER been posted here or anywhere else.

This show is for jobless folks with no skill/education who need to earn a living by doing reality shows. No different from the lame folks on Real World/Road Rules Challenges ... OR Frank The Entertainer who lives in his parent's basement.
I think Jeremy Anderson , and Richard Mathy. Both these guys are great catches and wouud be sure to bring in high ratings.
Most of America loves a train wreck. Alot of people will be tuning in. Besides not many good shows on during the summer.
RAD show concept - sooooo exciting that there is lots of blogger buzz...have FUN Jesse&Co.! BTW - it seems to be such a hot new show that there are already "sore losers" commenting on behalf of their favorites who obviously were not hot enough anymore to be asked to be on it! Career opportunity jealousy is just pain LOW! Dragging others down to build up a career never works and is lazy...work for it the honest and integer way!

It would be great to see Jesse C. Brian, Andy, Trista and Ryan, Tessa, Sarah (Tenn.), Kiptyn, Reid, Jill and Ed, Brad, Michael Stag. to name a few of the former contestants. DeYawna would not be one I would like to see too much screaming and ranting to make things people happy to be around her or watch what comes out of her mouth. Should be interesting
The show is suppose to be single people. No husband/wife,or bf/gf people on here. Which leaves out Mike Stag,trista/Ryan,ed/jill. But i'd love to see Trish from Jesse Palmer's season. Can't really remember to many more.Not sure what Kiptyn's status is. Depends on who you listen to if he's in a committed relationship with girl in Utah or not. I think she's into him way more then he is to her.
I'm with Heavenly - A bunch of unemployed b/b's trying to make a living off reality shows. Keep Jesse C. off the show. He is the biggest loser of them all!
