Henry and Molly love Miss Brittany's Organic Fun Dough!
Miss Brittany's Organic Preschool Fun Dough is pretty self-explanatory - it's dough that's organic, safe for small kids, and, well... fun! This great product was developed by a New York City preschool teacher who was tired of reading about all the toy recalls and toxins in popular toys and decided to make a better, safer play dough. Miss Brittany prides herself in her kid-safe and environmentally friendly products. Even the packaging is eco-friendly, from the recyclable airtight containers right down to the soy inks used on the labels.
Miss Brittany's Organic Fun Dough comes in great colors like Perfectly Pink, Oh My Goodness Orange, Purple Power and Going Green Green. The colors are bright and cheerful, and the texture of the dough is really smooth and pliable. It's got a better texture than some of the other commercially-available doughs on the market. Some other doughs also dry out, but Miss Brittany's dough can be brought back to life by adding a few drops of olive oil. Although the website recommends refrigerating the dough before playing, this wasn't necessary for us. The dough was firm yet smooth and easily shaped into balls, ropes and... cupcakes!
Miss Brittany offers a fun gift set for those who would like to get acquainted with her products. The gift set includes three colors of fun dough, an adorable apron, a wooden rolling pin and four wooden shape stampers. While the stampers are really cute, we thought that cookie cutters would work much better, so we dug some out of our kitchen drawers. This set would make an awesome gift for the kiddos on your holiday list and will provide hours of entertainment.
