My personalized storybook from Frecklebox
Having eight nieces of various ages, I am always in a constant struggle when searching for birthday gifts. I never know what they already have, and I never know what they’re already too old for. There’s one gift that no child can outgrow, and that’s something with their name on it. Thanks to a company that I recently stumbled upon, my search is finally over.
Frecklebox is a California-based company that specializes in personalized children’s gifts. Their best-selling item is their personalized storybooks, particularly the nature name book. Imagine reading a storybook to your child with their name in the story or every single page! They also specialize in school supplies, like personalized folders, notebooks, journals, stickers, and even lunch boxes. Each item is unique because it clearly displays the name of its owner. They even have personalized coloring books, so your child can see and decorate their name on each page they color. The price? Extremely reasonable for personalized goods, trust me!
Frecklebox began in April 2008, but the founders Mark and Scott have been in the printing business with Progressive Solutions for almost twenty years. They have a desire to educate and entertain children with fun, personalized products, and so they began the Frecklebox online company. Speaking with co-founder Mark Sarpa, I was blown away by his passion for his products and how they can inspire children to enjoy reading. A video from a local ABC station in CA truly shows their mission for Frecklebox. Planning to review the company, Mark insisted I “see the product in person in order to give it a fair review,” and boy, was he right.
He sent a personalized storybook for my little girl titled, “Guess Who’s Going to Be a Big Sister? Ella” (pictured above). The colors of the printing were so rich and vibrant, and the quality was unsurpassed. The book is a story about Ella becoming a big sister but that “no one can ever, ever take the place of you.” There’s even a photo of her at the end of the book. She absolutely LOVES when I read it to her, and although she’s a bit young to understand, I know this will be a favorite of hers for years to come. Mark also sent me a personalized journal with my name on the cover and on each page, and being the notebook freak that I am, I absolutely love it (so just imagine the excitement your child would experience!)I give Frecklebox five out of five enthusiastic thumbs up for quality, creativity, and ingenuity. I will definitely be online ordering Christmas gifts early this year!! What a wonderful idea for all my granddaughters. Even the oldest who is 14, will enjoy folders and notebooks with her name on them. I'll have to inquire with moms on where the "cut-off" age will be for story books with their names in it, but I'm thinking that even the young who think their old would love to see their name in print!!! I can't wait!!!

Wow - this company is awesome! Every kid like personalized things. Heck, Im 30 and would love that notebook. Great for kids birthdays! Great for parents with multiple kids so that each can have their own coloring book, lunch box etc.
