West Coast Swing by Pamela J. PowersAs we age, it's important that we Baby Boomers exercise regularly and keep fit. The best way to exercise--in my humble opinion-- is dancing.
Every Thursday, the Tucson Swing Dance Club has lessons and a dance at the Tucson Women's Center on the east side. The swing club promotes West Coast Swing, a stylized but versatile partner dance that can be danced to blues, country or rock 'n' roll music.
Beginning lessons are 7 - 7:45 p.m. The intermediate lesson is 8 - 8:30 p.m. Open dancing to DJ music is 8:30 -10:30 p.m. No partner is necessary. The cost is $5 for non-members. Come swing with me!

I agree, dancing is very good exercise, also great fun and sociable. I enjoyed the You Tube link which illustrated the dance moves quite well.
