It would make sense that as a clash of generations plays out in society that it would be reflected in our entertainment.
Such is the case with the 21st edition of TV's "Survivor" reality series.
"Survivor: Nicaragua" pits a team of players 30 years and younger versus a team 40 years and older.
A review of the older team members shows the average age is 50. See cast below.
The youngest of the group is 41; the oldest -- former Dallas Cowboys football coach and TV analyst Jimmy Johnson -- is 67.
Of the 10, five are of Baby Boomer age.
The age old question to be played out here is this: Do youth and strength ultimately win, or do age and wisdom?
We see that played out every day in society, in the workplace, in politics.
Now we'll see how it plays out for a $1 million on one of TV's most popular programs.
"Survivor" starts on Sept. 15 at 8 Eastern.
