Exactly two weeks ago today, I brought you the exciting news that Ford would be giving away one of their new 2011 Explorers if the Ford Explorer Facebook page hit 30,000 fans by the end of the month. Last night around 11pm, Ford made it official on their Facebook page as they rolled over 30,000 fans and they accompanied the announcement with the best teaser picture of the 2011 Ford Explorer yet.
Shown to the left, we get a good clear look at the stout front fascia and three-bar grille of the 2011 Ford Explorer. We got out first look at the grille in yesterday’s video featuring NHRA racer Ashley Force Hood and now we have our first still of the nose of the new sport ute. As I write this, the countdown on the Ford Explorer Facebook page shows just under 4 days until the grand debut of the Explorer which will likely open the floodgates of pictures and information on the new SUV.
