Sources have announced that Lexus will be pulling the cover from their long-anticipated LF-A supercar at the Tokyo Motor Show later this month.
The two-seater high performance vehicle has been making the rounds at international auto shows in various forms since 2005, but this is the first time members of the public will be able to see the long-awaited vehicle in full production trim.
Toyota Motor Company executives have kept quiet about the leak, choosing not to respond to inquiries about the unveiling.
It appears that the last publicly shown version of the car will very closely resemble the final version, with most of the changes coming in the form of styling differences and interior changes.
The final drivetrain will feature a 4.8 liter v-10 engine producing around 550 horsepower mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox with paddle-shifting manual control. Pricing for the car is still unannounced, but sources have placed it around $400,000.
