Moon Landing Hoax gains famous supporter.
On the 40th anniversary of the Apollo Moon landing, conspiracy believers just received a major celebrity endorsement. Whoopi Goldberg questioned the original moon landing on today's edition of "The View." Goldberg, a co-host, wondered who shot the footage and why the flag was "rippling" if there was no wind.
Despite 40 years of official rebuttals by NASA, former astronauts and former Soviet Union officials, nearly 6% of all Americans still cling to their beliefs that the famed moon landings were filmed in a Hollywood back lot. With the dawn of the Internet, hoax theories found renewed life in cyberspace and believers got a boost in 2001 when Fox TV ran a one-hour special called "Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?" The segment prompted NASA to put up a Web page dedicated to debunking such speculation.
The leading advocate of the moon-hoax theories is Bart Sibrel, who claims to have spent in excess of $500,000 and years researching the moon landings. Sibrel, says, “I'd bet my life the events were faked” and argues that, “creating the story of America being first to the moon was for the U.S. to intimidate Cold War enemy Russia.” In truth, if the Soviets actually believed that the greatest achievement of the 20th century had been faked, they would have moved heaven and Earth to discredit their mortal foe – the United States of America.
In the meanwhile, another conspiracy theory is also gaining traction; is Obama a ‘natural born’ citizen and constitutionally qualified to serve as President? A National Guard Colonel has sued to force Obama to present an actual birth certificate, contending that to be deployed in battle overseas would open (him) to possible War Crimes prosecution, for killing America’s enemies ,after having been ordered into battle, by an illegitimate Commander and Chief. Within a day or two after this lawsuit was filed, the Pentagon rescinded (his) deployment orders and then ordered his private employer to fire him or lose (its) Dept. of Defense contract. Subsequent to that threatened retaliation, two other military officers filed amicus briefs making similar claims against Obama.
Additionally, Conservative radio talker, Rush Limbaugh has recently begun weaving challenges to the validity of Obama’s Hawaiian birth certification into his broadcasts. A nascent National billboard campaign asking “Where’s the Birth Certificate” has sprung up in disparate parts of this country and elected representatives are increasingly being confronted, as to their stand(s) regarding Obama’s obfuscation of his birth, academic and college admission records.
Utilizing left-over millions in campaign cash, dozens of lawsuits (all over America); have been contested by Obama’s personal lawyers. Their chief defense has been to successfully challenge the petitioner’s ‘standing’ to bring suit, rather than ruling on the issue of Obama’s eligibility. If nothing breaks before spring of 2012 many ‘Birthers’ speculate that the next Republican nominee for president will, in fact, have such standing and could successfully advance an eligibility challenge, in advance of the next presidential election.
When that happens, there'll be a lot of people making 'whoopie'.

Anyone that believes in the moon hoax hoax must be willfully ignorant of the facts. We didn't just land once, we landed SIX TIMES! Every bit of "evidence" of a hoax can be easily disputed.

Let the wingnut birthers waste money on lawsuits. They have no standing. Not only has a birth certificate been provided, but the Honolulu Advertiser announced on August 4, 1961 the birth of a son to a Mr. and Mrs. Barack Obama and this just so happens to be the president's birthday.

The government just released a picture which they claim proves we landed on the moon. The picture is of the Apollo lander and it's shadow. Close examination of the picture (which was taken from space) reveals that the shadow of the lander is very long. In fact, in relation to some of the surrounding craters, it is almost the length of some of them. Apparently the lander was taller than a skyscraper to cast such a long shadow. This photo and the claims behind it definitely suggests the government is up to something. This is highly suspicious. It's also suspicious that they're now claiming it's going to be 2017 to 2020 before we can get back to the moon. Why so long if we've already been? The facts just don't add up. I'm sorry to say that I used to believe we actually went to the moon; however, recent developments have made me change my mind.

Obama's team had only produced a "Certificate of Live Birth" from Hawaii. This document is a Hawaiian method of certifying a birth, and it is NOT a birth certificate. Heck, the founder of the Republic of China [the original republic, not the Communist one], Sun Yat Sen, was given a Hawaiian "Certificate of Live Birth" in order to legally declare him protected by the United States. Sun Yat Sen was born in China, but could "prove" he was born in Hawaii for political reasons.
Before the Obama campaign for President began, there was word [common knowledge] that Obama was born "of the world", and that he may have been born in a British Commonwealth jurisdiction.
Obama is a USA Citizen, but there was never ANY proof he was born in Hawaii... until after he is given the Presidency.

I can remember reading with great disappointment Werner Von Braun's book(1953)where he dismisses manned space travel to the moon for some reasons mentioned.He said it would require a rocket the size of the Chrysler building plus.Then came Kennedy and Apollo.I was surprised he was appointed to the mission because of his book.

Page 276 and 277 covers lunar gabbroic examination major oxide concentration based on Low-An and High-An. It is not by sheer coincidence that the sample on the links below discovered in 1998-2002, is in good agreement with data published on materials retrieved from the Moon. Go look at video on Utube.When they were supposed to be over half way to the moon they took a shot of the inside of the capsule pointing towards the porthole...using the porthole to dimish the size of the earth because they were still in orbit!!!!!! Saying ..oh, look the earth in our rear view mirror. lol hahahah what balls!

But you don't have to fake the WHOLE thing - you can fake plenty though for various reasons - such as continuity - or if something went wrong in the mission - or if they needed to something else being seen (ie "contact") - something they call "contingency"..... or for any other nefarious reason. I have always wondered how there was enough fuel in the small LM for landing from orbit AND return to theCM ......
Not All needes to be faked - just Parts of it (ie Sibrels film) - there May be a problem with the radiation belts - or - they needed film to fill in or cover up other things that might have been happening - ie alien presence - (as possibly they now do on the shuttle or ISS)....
