Auctionzip.com, the company that brought you the online live auction locater, appears to have done it again with their new platform: Auctionzip Live.
Auctionzip Live provides access to bidding at live auctions without actually having to attend them in person. With a computer and an Internet connection, you can participate in these auctions in real-time or if you prefer, leave an absentee bid.
As with their famous Auctionzip platform which allows users to search auctions throughout the the US & Canada by Zip Code or keywords, the developers of Auctionzip Live have promised variety, reliability, simplicity and safety. If their track record is any indication of future performance, the auction world is in for a treat!
Once you've registered for an auction you're interested in, you're dealing directly with the auction house from that point on. This means you can call for information on the lots, ask questions about terms and conditions, make alternative shipping arrangements, etc.
These are all benefits mostly unavailable to users eBay and other online auctions, which hinder direct pre-sale communication between buyers and sellers. Savvy bidders that take time for a proper preview at any auction have a leg up on the competition,
Bidders should think of this service as an online doorway into the world of live auctions, allowing full participation without having to spend the time or gas to get to them.
In addition to full catalogs of live auctions with digital photos, AuctionZip offers its world class auction search ability for collectors and dealers to find the types of items they are looking for in just seconds.
The company promises it will be easy to use and offers support for those who have questions
Expect AuctionZip Live to be a big deal in the auction world.

Great info, Wally. I have been referring my coaching clients to Auction Zip for a while. It is so convenient and such a time saver. I work with several clients who are homebound or care for a loved one at home and simply can't attend auctions on a regular basis in person. This is such a wonderful option! Thanks for the head's up.

I agree Suzanne, Auctionzip has been a tremendous resource for auctioneers and auction goers. I recommend it several times a week to clients.
Thanks for your comment,
Walt
I, too, love Auction Zip, and I'm looking forward to trying this new feature. My favorite auction house (found on Auction Zip) apparently has new management; it's gone from seating people to bid on numbered lots to a sort of crowdsourcing model, and I don't have the physical stamina to crowd in to see which box is being bid on. (So I left without bidding on anything!) If I see anything I'm interested in at their future auctions (and surely I will), I can try this option.
