ATLANTA (Examiner.com) -- Joel Kwiatkowski and Jason Krog may be back in an Atlanta Thrashers uniform when the puck drops at Philips Arena in October. It looks like either Kari Lehtonen or Ondrej Pavelec may be playing elsewhere.

The Thrashers also inked unrestricted free-agent goaltenders Drew MacIntyre and Peter Mannino on Monday, signaling that Atlanta will likely move a goaltender before the season begins.

The 32-year-old Kwiatkowski spent the 2008-09 campaign with the Cherepovets Severstal of Russia’s Kontinental Hockey League, collecting 25 points (13 goals and 12 assists) in 52 games.

The 6-foot, 205-pound defensemen has appeared in 282 NHL games with the Ottawa Senators, Washington Capitals, Florida Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins and the Thrashers. He has recorded 45 points (16 goals and 29 assists), including five assists in 18 games in the 2007-08 campaign with Atlanta.

Krog spent last season with the AHL’s Manitoba Moose. He has appeared in 202 NHL contests with five clubs and 21 playoff games with the Anaheim Ducks.

The 33-year-old forward appeared in 14 games for Atlanta in the 2006-07 season, recording one goal and two assists.

MacIntyre and Mannino both played in the AHL last season. The 26-year-old MacIntyre has posted a 91-49-8 record with a 2.32 goals-against average in 155 AHL games. Mannino, 25, was 17-2-2 with a 2.94 goals-against average in 34 games for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers last season.
