The Atlanta Falcons injury woes continue as kickoff against the New York Giants approaches today.

Running back Michael Turner, who suffered a high ankle sprain last week against the Carolina Panthers and did not practice all week, is inactive.

His backup, Jerious Norwood, who has missed four straight games, thought he may be able to play today, but is also inactive.

Starting in Turner's place is Jason Snelling and recently-re-signed Aaron Stecker will be the backup.

Wide receiver Brian Finneran is inactive for the second straight game.

Other inactives for the Falcons include John Parker Wilson (third quarterback), defensive tackle Trey Lewis, linebacker Spencer Adkins, and offensive linemen Garret Reynolds and Quinn Ojinnaka.

The Giants' starting linebacker Antonio Pierce is out with a bulging disk in his neck that was diagnosed on Friday.

Other inactives for the Giants include wide receivers Sinorice Moss and Ramses Barden, offensive linemen Guy Whimper and Adam Koets, cornerbacks Kevin Dockery and Domonique Johnson, and running back Gartrell Johnson.

Considering all the injuries, the Falcons played well. The problem is, can y'all make the playoffs now? A game behind is not bad when you have two left against the Bucs, but you still have to leapfrog the Eagles and Packers, since you're not likely to pass the Giants with them having the tiebreak.
Will the Falcons lack of back-to-back season successes continue?
