Will is a father to two and grandfather to three, a fourth-generation Mississippian, and a Vietnam-era veteran. He is an experienced commercial writer and public relations specialist, with an educational background in biology and anthropology. He has a longstanding interest in various questionable aspects of mainstream as well as fundamentalist Christianity, specifically with regard to the atheist, agnostic, and secular humanist perspectives on such religion-related topics as church/state issues, teaching creationism or intelligent design as science in public schools, the acceptance of women in traditionally male roles within the church, narcissistic televangelists, homosexuality, abortion, stem cell research, global warming, world hunger, and the appropriateness of torture in wartime.
