Did evil beget evil? Is Erik Prince guilty?

Erik D. Prince, born June 6 1969, in Holland, Michigan is the founder and sole owner of the private military company Xe, formerly known as Blackwater Worldwide.

On February 13, 2009, Blackwater Worldwide changed it's name to Xe in an attempt to rid itself of a name that had become too closely associated with the company's role in Iraq as the private contractor of military personal (mercenaries) for the United States government. Prince announced his resignation as CEO of  Xe on March 2, 2009. Though he remains chairman of the board it is said he is no longer involved the day-to-day operations

It can't be denied that Blackwater employees have been accused of some very diabolical and evil actions while in Iraq. Among them; killing Iraqi civilians, kidnapping, weapons smuggling, money laundering, tax evasion, child prostitution, illegal drug use, destruction of evidence and more.

When testifying before Congress on October 2, 2007, about Blackwater Worldwide's activities in Iraq, Prince said his company had a lack of remedies to deal with employee misdeeds. When asked why an employee involved in a fatal incident had been "whisked out of the country" he replied, "We can't flog him, we can't incarcerate him."

Less than 2 years later, on August 3 2009, an unnamed former Blackwater employee and an unnamed former United States Marine filed allegations in a federal court in Virginia that Blackwater CEO, Erik Prince, murdered or facilitated the murder of individuals cooperating in a federal investigation of Blackwater.

The question now seems to have become: Did the impetus for all of Blackwater's “misdeeds” in Iraq come down from the top?

The former employee alleged in his testimony that Mr Prince; “views himself as a Christian crusader tasked with eliminating Muslims and the Islamic faith from the globe...To that end, Mr. Prince intentionally deployed to Iraq certain men who shared his vision of Christian supremacy, knowing and wanting these men to take every available opportunity to murder Iraqis. Many of these men used call signs based on the Knights of the Templar, the warriors who fought the Crusades.”.  Read on

In her 2009 book, Master of War, detailing Prince's time as CEO of Blackwater, author Suzanne Simons writes, 'Blackwater, in a lot of ways, reflects Prince's own personality: stubborn, driven, and obsessed with finding ways to make things happen."  Prince's birth chart echos this statement but also reveals an even darker potential.

Though even the dark inference in this particular date seems ominous. It should be noted that many individuals were born on that date, and though all would be stubborn, driven and obsessive about their beliefs, only one had the life experiences, the opportunitity and the money needed to fund the creation of their own private military company and that was Erik Prince.

Even without a birth time, Prince's right wing conservative leanings can be seen. However, what seems important to his alleged Christian supremacy beliefs and his obsession with eliminating Muslims and the Islamic faith from the globe, is his Gemini Sun's opposition to Mars, the warrior planet, in Sagittarius, the sign of faith and beliefs. Yes, Prince is a man who would be willing to fight for what he believes is right.

But how far would he be willing to go?

Having Mars in Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter which is conjunct Pluto, both in “spit and polish” Virgo, Prince is imbued with militarism. The South Node of the Moon, as well as Uranus (which adds a dangerous manic element) are also involved the configuration, suggesting this militaristic symbolism has a powerful influence on his life.

Of course, even this militarism can be expressed positively or negatively, but mostly somewhere in between, depending on the individual. However, whenever Pluto is involved there is the danger of obsessive cruelty and darkness. And any individual with Pluto conjunct Jupiter, the South Node and Uranus has the potential of becoming so manically obsessed with the righteousness and morality of their own beliefs that they lose touch with normal human values; become a law unto themselves, shunning society's laws and the usual rules of humane behavior. This potential is a chilling thought when you consider that Prince still owns and is the “commander and chief” of his own private military force.

Right now the statements of these two men are just sworn allegations, Prince has not been charged or convicted. But, does Erik Prince have it in him to orchestrate the “misdeeds” of Blackwater personnel and facilitate the murder of individuals who were cooperating in a federal investigation of Blackwater? You bet he does!
