Michele Rivera from Misha Media Photography held a fundraiser October 3rd to help raise funds for those affected by Typhoon Ondoy in the Philippines.
She photographed portraits as well as headshots and gave 100% of the proceeds to the Philippine National Red Cross.
The event was held at a store owned by Orlando Cecilio called, “Health Kick.” Along with the free photographs there were gift bags and discounts at the store.
In a recent press release for PR.com Rivera said, “…a dollar doesn’t go too far nowadays in the U.S… however, that dollar in the Philippines can help feed a family! Another storm is looming, the Filipino people need our help!”
