SHANGHAI, CHINA - As part of the 2010 Shanghai Expo, a music festival will be held from June 26 to July 17, 2010 in Shanghai. The Expo welcomes performing groups at universities and high schools throughout the world to apply to participate.
The performing groups include choirs, choruses, orchestras, wind ensembles, marching bands, jazz bands, pop groups, rock bands, dance troupes, etc. Upon acceptance, each participating group will perform on the central stage within the Expo Park as well as at some of Shanghai's landmark locations.
Performing groups will be at their own cost, but the event organizers do provide scholarships to qualified applicants.
