As human beings we want to think that we have our own unique personality. And rightfully so because no two persons are the same. However, what about our pets? Is it vain to think that our furry friends are so special as to have their own unique personalities? If so why not accessorize their outer appearance as such. Artist Robyn Jacobs has created such a way to accentuate a pet's personality or at least to compliment the owner's personality. Robyn is the founder of Pet Tag Creations www.pettagcreations.com where she creates identification tags for pets so that, "Your pet will have a tag that makes him stand out from the crowd,"
www.pettagcreations.com. Perhaps the finicky kitty cat should sport a scarlet tag with colorful polka dots. Maybe a bone shaped tag would be perfect for a recently adopted puppy who is so very playful.
The artist began making "Kidpins" in 1995. "The founder of Pet Tags Creations, Robyn Jacobs, designed and created more than 10 years worth of "Kidpins" (an educational fund raising pin which includes statistics of the welfare of children) from polymer clay for Advocates for Children and Youth," http://pettagcreations.com/aboutus.shtml.
However, after adopting her furry companion Logan in 2008 Robyn became inspired to channel her artistic talent in a new direction. Pet Tags! Logan needed a tag and so does every other pet. Robyn began using that polymer clay and her artistic skills to handcraft unique individual pet tags. Always keeping a good cause in mind, Robyn donates portions of Pet Tag Creation's profit toward various animal services and shelters.
