Puerto Rican singer Victor Manuelle performed last night at the Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood as part of a tour that takes him to San Francisco Saturday night and to San Diego on Thursday, Feb 25.
His presentation was preceded by a short performance by Zone D’Tambora, a group of young men from Puerto Rico traveling the tour with Victor Manuelle.
The event was well attended, although the venue could have handled many more. The same can not be said about the bar service, however.
Victor Manuelle’s Salsa songs are popular because of their romantic lyrics. He is a hit with the females as well because of his handsome looks. Those who waited by the stage to see him up close were not disappointed.
Victor Manuelle was backed by a fine group of Los Angeles musicians, including singer James Zavaleta, percussionist Joey De Leon, saxophonist Scott Martin and trumpeter Sal Cracchiolo.

Victor Manuelle's concert was a joke! He started at 1130PM and played for less than two hours!!!!!!! When did all salsa signers become such DIVAS???? Also, I paid 50% more for a VIP ticket that had nothing more to offer! Waste of my hard-earned money....

For less than 2 hours? I'd say that's a pretty good concert. Some of the concerts (festivals) I've been to lately have acts that are only on stage for 45 minutes. I personally prefer to see main acts alone, with maybe one opening act. I do agree however about starting late, I don't like the fact that many main acts start playing after 11pm. Whatever happen to 10pm or earlier?
I got there at 7 p.m. but it was worth it to wait that long we hardly get to see such grest salsa singers in L.A. like Victor Manuelle. Thank you so much to whoever made it happen of course also thank you Victor Manuelle. Hopefully soon we can see Gilberto Santa Rosa also in a single concert like that in L.A. that would be so awesome........
