January 22, 2012 - The streets, restaurants, and hotels of Anaheim were busy this weekend thanks to this year's NAMM show at the Convention Center. One of the world's largest music product trade shows, this industry-only event brings to Anaheim musicians from all over the country. It is here that instrument manufacturers and distributors present their new items, and their booths are always graced by the presence of their signed artists. They stand for pictures, autographs, and for scheduled and impromptu performances.
Attached are a few pictures of what yours truly saw yesterday (I'm not "industry" but I have friends in high places), particularly around the Latin Percussion, Toca, and Tycoon booths, music labels that sign several Salsa and Latin Jazz artists.
