The Latin Jazz and Salsa band Mambop opened up last night the "Noches Con Ritmo" series that the City of Fontana will hold every Thursday evening until June 10.
The Center Stage Theatre, a historical 1930s building that was renovated just last year, became an elegant and comfortable venue for the one hundred or so who attended the event. A smooth dance floor was placed in the center of the main floor leaving still enough seating areas for everyone present. The theater is set up with a beautiful lighting system and a bar and kitchen ready to serve appetizers at an additional cost.
Mambop went on stage at 8.30 pm and continued until midnight with two 15 minute intermissions. This Inland Empire based band will be back on March 4. The complete band line-up is noted below.
This should become a great spot to spend Thursday evenings for those close to the Fontana area. Cover charge is only $5 and parking is free. The Center Stage Theatre is located at 8463 Sierra Ave, Fontana CA.
