Jeremy McComb began his career at the age of eight, when his father pulled him on stage along with him as he sang Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again." For the next eighteen years, Jeremy's life evolved around songwriting and playing. His father played six nights a week to make a living for them, so he was always involved with music.
Believe it or not, Larry the Cable Guy also helped kickstart Jeremy's career. They were introduced to each other when Jeremy was working as a DJ for KIX-96. Larry the Cable Guy then introduced Jeremy to J.P. Williams, the CO of Parallel Entertainment and signed him to a management deal and also introduced him to a Nashville booking agent. Both J.P. Williams and the booking agent saw Jeremy's gift right away and wanted to help him amke it successfully.
Shortly after, Jeremy recorded his debut album, My Side of Town, in Spartanburg, SC. The album is described as a series of mini-stories, or mini-movies. If you click here, you can view his music video, "This Town Needs a Bar."
