Before she heads for SXSW in Austin, Texas, Jen Foster sits down to answer a few questions I had asked her. Just some questions to get to know her better as a fan, as well as for other fans to get to know her. To see what she had to say, read on.
What's your favorite food?
I'm a native Texan, so I love steak...with a sweet potato with butter and cinnamon and sugar. I also love Homemade Vanilla Blue Bell ice cream.
Where is your favorite place to write?
At my house, in my living room. It's a cozy space.
Do you have any pets?
I have 4 dogs! A mutt who I rescued (Chapin), a rat terrier (Leroy), an Australian terrier (Jack), and a 4-pound Chihuahua named Huey who is the pack leader!
Do you have any other hobbies besides music?
I like riding my mountain bike, I love movies, and I love good food. Oh - and I love reading trashy tabloids. (A guilty pleasure)....
What is your favorite thing to do when you're not performing or writing?
I love staying home and chilling out with my girlfriend and our 4 dogs. We watch movies, cook, and hang out on the back porch.
Do you have an absolute favorite musician or band?
I love so much music, but U2 is my all-time favorite band.
Do you have a favorite song?
"With or Without You".
Do you like any sports?
I love tennis, and I like watching football sometimes.
Do you have a favorite website?
I'm a news junkie, so CNN.com.
Do you have any nicknames?
My girlfriend calls me "Cubby". Because I'm a redhead and a little bit feisty, like a little lion cub :).
