With fresh snow falling, it may not look like it out there, but spring is on its way! Give yourself a cheerful reminder of the coming season with these bright flower refrigerator magnets.
The magnets are made out of craft foam and buttons. They are a great craft for kids, though young children may need assistance with the cutting portion of the project.
They are also very inexpensive to make. For this project, I used three 4" by 6" sheets of craft foam that came in an assorted pack of 32 sheets for a dollar at Dollar Tree, which should yield at least 4 magnets depending on size. The magnets the flowers are glued to also came from Dollar Tree and came a dozen to a package.
The buttons I had on hand, or you could use beads or anything else you have laying around that is the right size and a coordinating color. If you don't have anything on hand that will work, there is likely something you could use at... you guessed it! The dollar store!

These are darling! Are the magnets pretty strong? I get frustrated with some cheap magnets the kids and I craft with because they're too weak to hold up a piece of paper on the fridge. These look fair sized though.
