Fan Favorite returns to perform in the WONE Rock Series
The Akron Civic Theatre will present Zoso: The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Tribute on February 9, 2013. “Zoso is one of the most mesmerizing and accurate portrayal of "the biggest band of the 1970’s" - Led Zeppelin (Rolling Stone Magazine). Each member was selected to portray both the appearance and playing styles of Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Bonham, and John Paul Jones. Zoso almost immediately developed an outstanding regional reputation and were awarded "Best Tribute Act in California" by Rock City News.
In 1999, Zoso began touring nationally and, to date, have played a remarkable 2,400 live performances. Their passion, musical ability, showmanship and precise attention to detail earned them critical acclaim, name recognition and a large loyal following. The Los Angeles Times hailed the group as being "head and shoulders above all other Zeppelin tributes," and the Chicago Sun-Times declared Zoso to be "the closest to the original of any tribute."
The opening act for Zoso is Elipsus. They are the winner of the Stonestock competition produced at Firestone HS by the Friends of the Akron School for the Arts.
Zoso will perform one show only on Saturday, February 9 at 8:00pm. Ticket prices for adults are $15. Tickets are available at the Akron Civic Theatre Box Office (330) 253-2488 or online at www.akroncivic.com, or TicketMaster (1-800-745-3000).

About the Akron Civic Theatre
The Akron Civic Theater was built in 1929 by Marcus Loew and designed by famed theater architect, John Eberson. The interior structure was fashioned after a Moorish castle featuring Mediterranean decor, including medieval carvings, authentic European antiques and Italian alabaster sculptures. In June 2001, the Akron Civic Theatre underwent the most comprehensive restoration and expansion project in its history, whereby the theater was brought up to modern performance and patron standards. During the 2009-2010 season, the theater attracted 110,600 people for events ranging from Disney’s Imagination Movers and Nickelodeon’s Story Time Live to country stars Gary Allan and Miranda Lambert, Motown legends The Temptations and Four Tops, and rock icon Rob Zombie.
