When one thinks of a tribute band performing as one of the most successful, innovative and influential rock groups of the world, they often ignore the efficacy of how truly pragmatic Zoso portrays in all forms just as the historically known Led Zeppelin.
Zoso The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience consists of four musically talented men who are individually characterized for their reputable sound and appreciation to Led Zeppelin. When Matt Jernigan takes the stage, he gives you the full embodied resemblance of Robert Plant. As his vocal range embellishes Plants popular legato echos, one is captivated to Jernigan's body language that spirts the soul of Plant.
To the right and left of Jernigan, is John McDaniel and Adam Sandling. McDaniel's, dressed head to toe in a replica of Jimmy Page's Dragon suit which he wore often in the early to mid-'70s on stage. Fans engage close to the stage edge, mesmerized by his Violin bow performance. His fast tremolo finger slides, scale along his Gibson SE double neck electric guitar. Sandling, also a multi-instrumentalist performer, role-plays the mannerisms of John Paul Jones. Sandlings' tight pivots on his Jazz Fender and Modulus are solidly synced with the harmonic nodes within the drum beats.
The late John Bonham, notably referred to as "Bonzo"... would probably do a double take if he met Zoso's drummer, Greg Thompson. Thompson's style and sound is idyllically similar to Bonzo. As Thompson's arms gravitate through mid-air directly for his Ludwig Amber kit, cymbals, gong or kettle drum, one finds themselves evoked in the identifiable memory of Bonzo's splintering drum chops.
Together, these four men have developed an outstanding regional reputation and were awarded "Best Tribute Act in California" by Rock City News. In 1999, Zoso began expanding nationally, playing a remarkable 2,400 live performances, targeting their show to become one of the most musically and visually rewarding acts in North America.
Saturday, February 9, 2013, Zoso will enamour their audience at the beautiful Akron Civic Theatre -located in the heart of downtown Akron, Ohio. The opening act for Zoso is Elipsus. They are the winner of the Stonestock competition produced at Firestone Highschool by the Friends of the Akron School for the Arts.
