In preparation for the ZOOMA Texas race on Saturday, April 12, the ZOOMA Women's Race Series invites Austin runners to a training run on Saturday, March 15. Kicking off at 8 a.m. from Texas Running Company, the training run will be held on the Lady Bird Lake running trail.

The ZOOMA Texas Half Marathon, 10k and 5k will be held at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa in Bastrop, just outside of Austin. The race, which will start at 7:30 a.m., winds through Texas Hill Country allowing people to enjoy a tranquil, country course, though challenging due to the course's hills. Whether you run the half marathon, 10k or 5k, you will receive a race medal and charm upon finishing.

The race is capped at 2,500 runners. Registration is $105 for the half marathon, $75 for the 10k and $55 for the 5k until March 29; from that point until race day, prices increase to $120 for the half marathon, $90 for the 10k and $65 for the 5k.
