Zooey Deschanel showed up at the 65th annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 22 dripping in satin. Her shimmering sartorial statement made the "New Girl" star shine even more than ever at Nokia Theatre, L.A. Live on a sunny Los Angeles afternoon for this highly anticipated event.
The funny lady, deck out in ice blue J Mendel, joined a whole bunch of colleagues in downtown Tinseltown to celebrate the best and the brightest of television as this annual awards show was about to start.
Alongside this Deschanel was sister Emily, who appears on the dramatic comedy, "Bones." She had on a stunning, one-shoulder, full length sheath that gleamed in shades of grey.
Meanwhile, also on hand on this award show runway were so many foxy fashionistas, including Vera Farminga, Michelle Dockery, Claire Danes, Robin Wright, Connie Britton, Elisabeth Moss, and Kerry Washington. All of these female luminaries were nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for the 65th annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
And so, while these fine actresses duke it out for the big prize, Zooey Deschanel and her sister Emily make strong fashion statements on the Emmy Awards 2013 red carpet. Were these siblings dressed the best? Who knows. Beauty is, as always, in the eye of the beholder.
