The tabloids have been swirling for days that Zooey Deschanel and Russell Brand have been secretly texting after the comedian broke up with Katy Perry. Addressing the rumors on Tuesday, Deschanel shared just how ridiculous the idea is of communicating with Brand as she doesn’t know him personally.
"I don't know him,” said Zooey Deschanel on ABC’s The View. Sharing that the only reason she thinks the rumor even started is because she looks similar to Katy Perry it is quite obvious the actress has no interest in Russell Brand or the rumor that has plagued the actress.
“I literally don't know him. On a scale of truth and completely preposterous, it is like completely preposterous,” shared Zooey Deschanel who seemed miffed as it has been a rumor she has been hearing for weeks.
Working in Hollywood on her show, the entertainer probably would want to keep clear of the marriage mess anyway as it could affect her successful FOX sitcom New Girl.
