Zoo Atlanta Nightcrawlers program: Chinese New Year

The Zoo Atlanta “NightCrawlers” event even has a special Panda theme to Mei Lan, the first giant panda born in Atlanta a big send-off. The “NightCrawlers” program allows Zoo Atlanta guests to spend the night in the zoo. Don’t worry, parents, you won’t have to sleep outside with the animals. On January 23, learn about Mei Lan and Chinese culture. Also enjoy panda-centric arts and crafts, Chinese activities, and more hands-on fun. In the morning visit the pandas. Meet one of the pandas up-close-and-personal as they train and have the chance to feed one of the furry creatures.
Hours for the “NightCrawlers” program are 6PM to 10:30AM the next morning. The cost is $50 per person for Zoo Atlanta members and $55 per person for non-members.  Act fast, reservations and payment should be made at least two weeks in advance. This program is not just for the pandas. Check the Zoo Atlanta website for more dates and other special programs. http://www.zooatlanta.org/home/book_a_program/kids_and_families/family_nightcrawlers
