It was announced earlier today that a brand new Wii U deluxe bundle will be coming to North America later this month. The new bundle will cost $389.99, and will feature a variety of extras. Most prominent is the inclusion of Ubisoft’s ZombiU, which would usually retail for $60.
Along with the survival horror title comes a downloadable copy of Nintendo Land, which comes with other versions of the Wii U’s deluxe set, albeit in disc form. The bundle also features a booklet full of ZombiU artwork and developer commentary, which could prove to be a huge selling point for collectors. Along with these two pack-in games, Nintendo has also added a Wii U Pro controller, which would normally sell on its own for $50. As with the other deluxe bundles, enrollment into Nintendo’s “Deluxe Digital” program is also included.
After taking into account the $40 difference between this bundle and the standard deluxe Wii U, which sells for $349.99, shoppers will save $70 between ZombiU and the Pro controller. That also doesn’t include the booklet, which hasn’t yet been made available outside of this package. The new North American ZombiU bundle hits stores on February 17th, and will be available for the suggested selling price of $389.99.
