Halloween is next week so to get you ready, check out these “ghostly” events taking place this weekend.
For eight years now the North Fort Worth Historical Society has been presenting Oakwood Cemetery Saints and Sinners Tour. This annual event takes place the last weekend in October each year. History buffs will not want to miss this event. There will be numerous characters throughout the cemetery, telling their story. These are former residents of early days of Fort Worth.

Walking tours will take place at 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm
$5.00 Students/children (12 and under)
They also offer Twilight tours during this event but those are already SOLD OUT for this weekend. Day tours are still available. Purchase your tickets at the gate.

William Shakespeare’s LAND OF THE DEAD
This is a true story of the 1599 Zombie plague. Just in time to get you in the “spirit” of Halloween.
October 25 – 26, 2013
It is an outdoor event, so dress appropriately. Feel free to wear zombie make up and attire. Performance will take place on their outdoor stage.
Saturday night’s performance will include a pre-show of Zombie Dancers from Hangman’s House of Horrors.

Ghost Town Cemetery Tours
Reservations are required for both tours.
Ghost tours in both Stockyard and at a local cemetery every weekend. Stockyard tours are held Sunday thru Thursday at 8:00 pm.
Cost for Stockyard tours are $15.00.
If cemetery tours are more your style, tours are held every weekend. These tours take begin one hour before sunset. You are welcome to take your own paranormal detection equipment or use those provided by the tour leader.
