Zombie and Cooper: the Gruesome Twosome

Gruesome Twosome Tour, www.gruesometwosometour.com

Well fans….it's almost time! Do you have your Gruesome Twosome tickets yet? The news was first announced almost two months ago, but the press for this particular tour teaming Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper has been buzzing daily ever since. Mostly because as the days go on, the duo keep adding more tour dates at the urging of fans all across the country. And I'm beginning to think it's actually working to the fans advantage!

This has been a bill requested by fans for over a decade and Rob and Alice are finally bringing it to us all. Get ready for a ghoulish night of fun and horror, for Rob has posted several tweets over the last few weeks on how the stage set for this tour will be one of the best ever. Will his wife Sheri Moon Zombie be along for the ride, dancing next to her man's side as we normally see? I've posed that question myself but have yet to receive an answer; but hopefully we'll know something soon. Cooper has called this match up their own version of Dracula vs. Frankenstein and Zombie says this dream nightmare, a long time one of his very own, is finally coming true. How must it feel to be touring with one of your own iconic heroes? One would think, pretty damn good.

The tour will kick off April 26, 2010 at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and the last date we have at this point in time is on May 22, 2010 at the Artpark in Buffalo, New York. The one location that Zombie generally makes an appearance is of course California but this time around, we've yet to see where he'll be playing anywhere near there. Cooper will showcase the Theatre of Death during this tour from his last released album, Along Came a Spider. Zombie will be performing new songs from his album Hellbilly Deluxe II which released in February 2010 and debuted at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums.

This is definitely one pairing you do not want to miss! A Rock 'n' Roll Spookshow come to life with our own new age monsters in both Zombie and Cooper. Be ready for some gory, spooky, yet rockin' stuff onstage.
