Zoe Saldana loves her wine

Zoe Saldana recently talked to Glamour about her love of wine.  Considering how busy she's been recently filming and promoting blockbusters like Star Trek and Avatar, a glass of vino is well deserved.

"I love my wine and I don't wait until the sun goes down. I don't pop bottles at 6am, but when I'm with family and friends, you bet that we are surrounded by the best vinos -whether French or from Argentina, from Italy or Napa Valley -we are drinking!," Saldana said.

If you want to take after Zoe and relax with a nice glass or two of wine, Houston has a few fabulous wine bars that would make her proud.

La Carafe - The downtown wine bar opened in the 1950's.  It's small and dark, and would be a perfect place for a celebrity to have a drink while remaining inconspicuous.

Boheme - It's a hidden gem in Montrose, easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking for.  If you don't have A-list money, check it out during happy hour, when house wine and sangria are both $4/glass.

Max's Wine Dive - This is a place where you can mix and mingle with young professionals on the newly designated party strip, Washington Ave.  The wine list is constantly changing, but you should always be prepared to pay a minimum of $10/glass.

Do you have a favorite Houston wine bar that wasn't mentioned?

I'm a big fan of Root 1...they have several Chilean wines that come from original root stock...hence the name. so good! And not ridiculously priced.
