'Zero Hour' runs out, ABC pulls it from the lineup

The time has come for "Zero Hour."

After three badly-rated episodes of the Anthony Edwards show "Zero Hour," ABC has removed it from the lineup for next week.

The show certainly appears to be cancelled, with ABC removing it for at least the next two weeks in favor of reruns of "Shark Tank."

The show debuted Feb. 14 to a 1.4 rating with 6.38 million viewers, then fell to a 1.1 rating in the second week with 5.39 million viewers. Both of those airings came in the February sweeps period of time. A third new airing fell to a 1.0 rating with 5.05 million viewers, and ABC has apparently seen enough to pull the show.

The show starred Edwards as the publisher of “Modern Skeptic” magazine who uncovers a vast conspiracy, and must also try and rescue his kidnapped wife. No word on when or if the remaining episodes will air.
