Last night's Headlining entertainment at Magoo's, located in the Fontana Shopping Center @ 51st & Memorial, Tulsa, Oklahoma, was amazing. Although they are a local band, Zero Crossing has music that is very much their own, but they also sang Bottom's Up by Nickleback ~ sang by Lead Singer Thad Timothy, Sound of Madness by Shinedown ~ sang by Lead Singer Thad Timothy, & Eight Days A Week by The Beatles ~ sang by Guitarist Eric DeMoss. These Cover Songs that Zero Crossing performed were both excellent and show stoppers. Lead singer Thad Timothy was celebrating his 34th Birthday last night and he was presented with autographed picks by his friends and colleagues that attend the show. Their immense diversity in sound and vocal qualities was both refreshing and unusual. Most up and coming artists will fashion their music with a single influential band or come out of the gate with a sound that is totally them and no one band can be detected in their music. I was not able to make this decision about Zero Crossing last night, since they sang three well-known songs very well. I am looking forward to hearing more from them and would not be surprised if I saw them on the Axis Stage at Rocklahoma.
