Police have arrested a 17-year-old who allegedly robbed and wounded another Zephyrhills man early Wednesday morning.
Around 3:30 a.m., Calvin Wyatt, 23, was walking behind the city bathrooms on 5th Avenue between 8th and 9th streets when he was stopped by another male who brandished a handgun.
According to a police report, the suspect ordered Wyatt to the ground, fired a shot that lacerated his head, took cash and items from the victim and fled in a car.
Wyatt was treated for his wounds at the scene and released.
A half hour later, police tracked down the suspect, Joshua Dylan Arens, 17, who was a passenger in a 2004 Honda Accord.
Police have yet to locate the handgun. The investigation continues, according to Capt. Robert McKinney of the Zephyrhills Police Department.
