Fans of the television show and the comic series will be excited that Zenescope Comics has finally announced that after a two year wait that they will be releasing a season 10 "Charmed" comic. It will be released this October at the New York Comic Con.

Zenescope Editor-in-Chief, Ralph Tedesco relayed this message to fans:

“I’m so glad to announce this news. Charmed fans are an extremely rabid and loyal group. They write us all the time, asking about Season 10 since it’s been almost two years since the last issue was released. We’re happy to let them all know that it’s been worth the wait — we’re coming back with a brand new arc and a ton of surprises that we feel will absolutely satisfy hardcore Charmed fans, while also appealing to new readers.”

The original comic series picked up with season nine when the television series ended in 2006 with their sixth season. The series ran from the summer of 2010 to fall of 2012. Now, after two years "Charmed" will return with season ten.

Originally Paul Rudtis had written season nine of the series but this year his position will move to editor while Pat Shand who also writes for "Robyn Hood", will be writing the new series.

The television series was based on books written by Constance Burge. Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, and Alyssa Milano starred in the first three episodes and then added Rose McGowan beginning with season four. The season nine comics brought all four sisters together for a heat and action filled finale.
