Zebra escapes and trots around neighborhood for 3 weeks avoiding capture

A zebra escapes from a Tennessee farm and there’s no way the striped creature is going back into captivity, if the zebra has its way. The zebra escape happened weeks ago and it has been alluding its owner while strolling through the different neighborhoods, according to ABC News on Dec. 13.

Some folks find themselves doing a double take as the zebra trots by like it belongs on the roads of this rural Tennessee town. For weeks now the escaped zebra sightings have come in from near and far, but the apparently smart creature manages to maneuver out of any attempts at capture.

Zeek apparently likes his freedom and he's done a good job at demonstrating that as far he's concerned he is not going to be an easy catch. Zeek’s owner Ronald Price said that the zebra escaped by jumping over a tall fence on his farm three weeks ago. Price said he is keeping an eye out for the next Zeek spotting, but he is hopeful that someone will be able to capture his striped friend who seems to enjoy his life in a cruise-control like mode!
