Zeb and Deb math presents the ‘Telling time to the hour’ slideshow and free downloadable worksheet. This is part four of four. This particular activity focuses in on digital clocks.
Part 4 of 4: The students will practice telling time by looking at digital clocks. Students can first watch the slideshow. Afterward, during seatwork time, they can complete the worksheet.
In part 1 of 4, students will work with clocks that have all twelve numbers on display.
In part 2 of 4, students will work with clocks that only have numbers on display at the quarter hour.
In part 3 of 4, students will work with clocks that do not have any clocks on display.
Slideshow Directions
Set four slideshow has digital clocks.
The students will look at the clock on slides three to fourteen. They will then determine what time it is on the clock. Students should call their answer aloud. The answer key is included below.

Check for understanding with this Zeb and Deb Math worksheet
Afterward, to check for understanding, give each student a copy of the worksheet called “Zeb and Deb Math: Telling time to the hour worksheet #4.” During their seatwork time, they should follow the directions on the worksheet and write in their answers:
Directions: “Look at the time spelled out below each of twelve watch-faces. In your neatest handwriting, write down the correct digital time inside each watch.”
