Pro-vaccine crusader Amanda Peet, who starred in The X-Files and 2012, caused an uproar some time ago when she told 'Cookie Magazine '  "Frankly, I feel that parents who don't vaccinate their children are parasites." Described on Wikipedia as the daughter of a Jewish social worker mother and a Quaker corporate lawyer father, Peet is probably the most outspoken celebrity advocate of trusting the government and medical establishments. Turns out it runs in her family! She's the daughter in law of former Federal Reserve Bank of New York  Chairman Stephen Friedman, the consumate corrupt government insider and spook (intelligence operative).

The actress, a new mom in 2007, had heard concerns from friends about vaccines and sought advice from her sister's husband, a physician. In this one minute video interview, she explained how she came to her conclusion to embrace vaccines: (embedded below, it's a must see.)

"...there are a lot of misconceptions about the dangers of vaccinations and in particular the associations with autism, um, and I found it to just be really sad. So much of the energy is bring redirected, um, to the association between vaccinations and autism, and it's taking away, um, the money, and research..."

Peet's brother in law introduced her to Dr. Paul Offit,  "Chief, Division of Infectious Diseases Director, Vaccine Education Center" at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Cookie Magazine reported Peet's impression of the Offit:
"Once we had spoken, I was shocked at the amount of misinformation floating around, particularly in Hollywood," including the unproven link between certain vaccines and autism; the safety of preservatives like mercury-based thimerosal; and the fear that the relatively high number of shots kids receive today can overwhelm young immune systems."

Actress Jenny McCarthy, holds the opposite views and is on the board of Generation Rescue,  described as "an international movement of scientists, physicians and parent-volunteers researching the causes and treatments for autism". "We are pro–safe vaccine..I used to be [Peet] before I had a kid with autism", she said. McCarthy, a high profile spokesperson, has been featured in TIME Magazine debating the issue is amost always brought up when the topic arises.

After Peet's remarks caused a public uproar, she apologized for referring to parents as "parasites", but in the same breath referred to anti-vaccine proponants as "fringe medical groups" and "fringe scientists". She said that the growth of the anti- vaccine movement "bodes for a dangerous future", and insisted "vast reductions in immunization will lead to a resurgence of deadly viruses. This is as indisputable as global warming." She insisted that there's no 'massive cover-up', and that autism and vaccines are not linked.

Offit is on the board of directors of "Every Child By Two", a rabid pro-vaccine establishment group founded by Jimmy Carter's wife. Actress Peet is now doing public service announcements for them.
ECBT spouts that Rosalynn Carter and Former Senator Dale Bumper's wife Betty "have been working on immunizations since their husbands were governors in the early 70's". They "highlight the need for continued vigilance to ensure that the 12,000 babies born every day receive life saving vaccines in a timely manner." ECBT works in conjunction with the "Centers for Disease Control and Prevention" and advocates "electronic immunization registries" to be 'implemented throughout our country'.
They want to track all children's vaccine records to ensure compliance, and link federal WIC recipients into the vaccine-tracking database.

ECBT arrogantly claims that Bumpers and Carter "have been credited with the passage of laws mandating vaccination at school entry, which now exist in every state", (which is not true, since parents can demand a waiver and opt-out.) ECBT continues, "As a result of these laws, the United States has a 95% plus immunization rate for school enrollees".

It gets worse. Dale Bumpers is a former Arksanas governor and U.S. Senator who returned to the Senate after his retirement to plead "but you cannot convict him" during  Bill Clinton's impeachment hearings. The Bumpers have their own "Dale and Betty Bumpers Vaccine Research Center" at the National Institutes of Health, set up by Clinton. [Council members ]

Peet married screenwriter David Benioff on September 30, 2006  and gave birth to her daughter less than five months later. On Dec. 10, 09 she announced they are expecting their second child.
Wikipedia reports "Born David Friedman in New York City, he changed his name to David Benioff, his mother's maiden name. He is the youngest of three, with 2 sisters, Suzy Cohen, and Caroline Levy...Benioff's father, Stephen Friedman, is the former head of Goldman Sachs".

The Federal Reserve Bank website notes on Friedman's bio that he is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and "is chairman of the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board and of the Intelligence Oversight Board. From December 2002 to December 2004, he served as assistant to President George W. Bush for Economic Policy and director of the National Economic Council."

Its' website states "The President's Intelligence Advisory Board (PIAB), with its component Intelligence Oversight Board (IOB), is an independent element within the Executive Office of the President.
Members are distinguished citizens selected from the national security, political, academic, and private sectors....Throughout its fifty-plus year history, the PIAB has had immense and long-lasting impact on the structure, management, and operations of US intelligence".

WhoRunsGov.com reports Friedman has "close ties" with Robert Rubin, Henry Paulson, & Timothy Geithner: "President George W. Bush’s director of the National Economic Council resigned as the chairman of the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York when his ties to Goldman Sachs raised ethical questions about his role in the 2008 Wall Street bailout. ...During the 2008 credit crisis, Friedman governed the Fed branch with the closest ties to Wall Street. He had a hand in shaping the government's response to the 2008 financial collapse, including the $700 billion bailout plan, and a $10 billion capital injection to help Goldman Sachs stay afloat."

Bob Chapman of the International Forecaster wrote in the Secrets of the Federal Reserve about the "kind of relationship makes government a tool of major financial interests and it breeds corruption, as we just witnessed in the case of Stephen Friedman, formerly of Goldman Sachs, and until he resigned last week, for having purchased some Goldman Sachs stock, was Chairman of the NY federal Reserve, the position Mr. Geithner had held before him. This raises the fundamental question of appointment and corruption."

Friedman is also a member of the "Quill and Dagger Society" at Cornell University, which is compared to Yales' occult group Skull and Bones and considered the "Highest NonScholastic Honor" by The New York Times in 1929.

In the January 2009 New York Times article Book Is Rallying Resistance to the Antivaccine Crusade, it becomes apparent where Peet picked up her habit of denigrating terms to try and marginalize vaccine truth advocates. Peet's mentor Offit used the exact same words she parroted in her faux apology: "they use fringe scientists and celebrities". Peet adds "there’s a lot of anticorporate fervor, anti-pharmaceutical company fervor.” One pro-establishment neurologist blames reporters for “creating a conspiracy where there was none.”  The article goes on to toss out all the canards:" Many doctors now argue that reporters should treat the antivaccine lobby with the same indifference they do Holocaust deniers, AIDS deniers and those claiming to have proof that NASA faked the Moon landings".
Arthur Allen, pro-vaccine author wraps it up, saying “There are still people who believe fluoride is dangerous, who think jet contrails cause cancer".

Wow, blatant antisemitism. I wouldn't not have thought the Examiner would condone this kind of thing.

What? What's with the fraudulent smears? Hannah, are you related to Ben Stein by any chance?

Well Amanda Peet sure has some interesting connections. I found it rather amusing that she compared the supposed science of vaccines to that of global warming--both irrefutable in her mind. However, as the emails released during Climate Gate make abundantly clear, global warming is yet another scam and she is not addressing any of the serious questions regarding the safety of vaccines.

Just a couple of months ago, a study conducted by scientists at a hospital in Rochester New York purportedly proved that vaccines containing mercury produce no lasting damage to infants. They came to this conclusion by taking blood samples 24 to 48 hours after the infants received the injections. Of course, blood mercury levels appeared to be normal because mercury crosses the blood brain barier. But mercury is not the only problem with vaccines. What about the formaldehyde, aluminum, and, yes, even cancer viruses that for some reason wind up in the vaccines?

It is time for Amanda Peet to answer real questions if she wants to make these kind of comments. Just because she is a good actress doesn't mean she is a qualified scientist. Would Amanda Peet care to address the SV 40 which was deliberately put into the Polio vaccines during the 1950's? A doctor finally testified in 1987 that Merck knew of the dangers of the ingredient from the very beginning but it refused to do anything about it until it was finally phased out in 1963. One of the principles on the Georgia Guide Stones is to reduce the earth's population to below 500 million. How will this be done? In the mind of the elite the average person is a parasyte. Perhaps Amanda Peet is showing her true colors. Either way, sorry Amanda Peet, I have done the research and I know what this is about.

I thought Joe McCarthy was dead. This article is one of the most incredibly paranoid, uninformed, smear jobs I have ever read. I fully support vaccinations, and making them a requirement if you want to send your kid to a public school. Keep your little germ carriers away from my kids.

As for Jenny vs. Amanda...attended how many colleges before she obtained her degree? How did she first make a name for herself? When was her last successful movie? And, make no mistake about it, she does not want safer vaccines, she wants absolutely safe vaccines, which, if she knew a shred of science, which she does not, she would know that it is impossible to make anything 100% safe. She is pure anti-vaccination scum.

When Amanda called anti-vaccination parents parasites she loater apologized. That was a mistake. These people put every child at risk, because informed peoploe know that no vaccine is 100% effective, and that is why herd immunity iis so critial.

Something to think about FreeThinker. If vaccines worked the way pharmaceutical companies say they do, then why should they be mandated? They will protect whoever gets them regardless of who else does or does not get them. It is more than autism we are talking about though. AIDs is a manufactured virus and, yes, it was distributed via the Polio vaccines distributed in Africa in the early 1970's. SV 40, which was placed in the Polio vaccines distributed here in the U.S. elevated recipients chance of getting cancer by 300 percent. It is about eugenics and evil unimaginable by most people. I would encourage you to research this topic a little more FreeThinker.

Not a good start. You could not get my name right.

I'll assume that you are implying that pharmaceutical companies say that vaccines are 100% effective. I have NEVER seen that, soo your red herring don't swim. Furhter, there are kids who are immunocompromised and cannot take vaccines. YOUR failure to get your germ carriers vaccinated puts them at greater risk. Continued...

    Infowar blathered:

Wrong and I addressed this point in my comment. You seem to have a reading problem.

Bull. I have seen this lie posted, and regurgitated by anti-vac liars for years. Yet, they have no direct proof.

SV 40, which was placed in the Polio vaccines distributed here in the U.S. elevated recipients chance of getting cancer by 300 percent.

Placed? When facts are short, a nice wacko conspiracy fits so well.

I have researched these issues thoroughly FOR YEARS, and conclude that you are seven candles short of a Menorah. Anyone spouting such utter crap is not to be believed.

Well I know mercury is poisonous, doesn't seem a stretch to think ethyl mercury might be bad for you as well. This is simple enough, show me the toxicology studies showing thimerosal to be safe. You know the vaunted safe and effective mission of the FDA regulatory agency, show me the data. There aren't any, look it up. For heaven's sake the FDA wanted to ban thimerosal in animal vaccines before they started poisoning our children with it.

Your right FreeSpeaker. I typed your name a little too hastily earlier. Although reasons can be given for why virtually all vaccines are dangerous, lets start with the swine flu vaccine. Just a few facts you may have missed in the media regarding the safety of the vaccine. A German doctor has warned about the use of cancer cells from animals in the swine flu vaccine. Thymerasol is also used in many versions of the swine flu vaccine. Why is Squalene being used in the European versions of the swine flu vaccine? While it is safe to consume it is not safe to inject. Injecting this substance is comparable to putting a biological time bomb into your body. Just who is Novartis, the Swiss manufacturer of the swine flu vaccine really working for anyway? Their company logo is the eternal flame of the illuminati.

  • The Infowar 2 years ago

FreeSpeaker. You merely stated that vaccines protect people because everyone gets vaccinated. Then where are the bacteria that they are supposedly protecting against? If, as your comment seems to imply, you are willing to think that these viruses and bacteria are a constant threat, then they are constantly in your environment. Therefore, what is the difference if they happen to be in someone standing next to you or on a table behind you? The fact is that there are no legitimate studies proving that thymerasol is safe to inject into humans. If you look at the rates of autism over the past few decades, you have to admit they have sky rocketed and it cannot be merely be explained by the fact that doctors have changed the definition of being autistic--that is one explanation I have heard. I would highly recommend you read Death in the Air: Globalism, Terrorism, and Toxic Warfare by Dr. Lenard Horowitz.

  • The Infowar 2 years ago

FreeSpeaker. Now to address your question regarding the AIDs virus. Yes, the documents are real. Read Emerging Viruses by Dr. Lenard Horowitz. If you find such a thing hard to believe, Dr. Adrian Gibbs, co-creator of Tamiflu, has gone on record stating that the swine flu virus was manufactured in a lab. It appears that the elite are testing soft kill bioweapons on the general public. Research Project Shad and your views on this sort of thing might change. The fact is the swine flu virus is a cocktail of different viruses and it is impossible for viruses to combine that way in nature. Eugenics has a long history. Project Shad and Project MK Ultra were just part of it. Did you know that the inserts on the swine flu vaccines warn that they could cause anaphylactic shock? Oh yes, and that is not all. Big pharma is big business and they have an agenda that they are following. It is for the same reason that I. G. Farben manufactured the Xyclon B. tablets for the Nazi concentration camps.

Another truly terrible, scare-mongering, uninformed article from the conspiracy theorist Martin Hill. *yawn* This is getting so boring and predictable. Want to tell us about JFK too? Roswell? The Jews? I'm sure you have fascinating, intelligent things to say about all of them that aren't AT ALL CRAZY!

  • Nick 2 years ago

Amanda Peet makes a good point when she says that a lot of time and money is wasted in bickering about vaccines and whether they can be linked to autism. There are certain things about autism that we do know. We do know that ABA therapy is the most effective scientifically proven method to treating autism. Why not hop on that bandwaggon and start early intervention asap! Here's a great place to get started for parents or professionals its called rethink autism and it seems to be the next big thing in autism treatment.

I am proud to be one of those parasites Amanda spoke out against. I have one child who was damaged by vaccines, received every vaccine the doctor recommended prior to the serious reaction. At one time I sounded a lot like Amanda. Now, having read countless books and articles on the subject of vaccine safety I am quite comfortable saying no. My youngest unvaccinated daughter at the age of 18 months has had no illnesses whatsoever with the exception of the cold...twice.

I am sorry to see Amanda being used by the likes of Dr. Offit. As if he would give anything but a biased opinion on the subject of vaccines!

  • Say it ain't so 1 year ago

Wow, I am so disappointed in Amanda Peet. She is so beautiful and sexy, and until I read this article she seemed intelligent enough. It would be one thing if she just assumed vaccines were good without ever having researched the issue, but she apparently has looked into it after hearing the concerns of others and she is still this ignorant? I would hate to think she is not being sincere (after all, she only married into the scum friedman family, it might be different if she were friedman offspring herself) so I guess she is just stupid and is poisoning her child with all of those wondeful vaccines. What a shame.
